Guy Shinar, PhD, MBA
Co-founder and CTO
Guy is a physicist with over 25 years of experience as a serial medical device entrepreneur and executive. He is the Co-founder and CTO of diabetes technology companies Triple Jump and Tingo. Previously, Guy served as CEO of X Technologies, an interventional cardiology company (acquired by Guidant). He is the author of multiple patents and has published articles in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Science and PNAS.
Ofer Yodfat, MD
Co-founder and CMO
Ofer is a specialist in internal medicine with over 25 years of experience as a medical device entrepreneur and executive. He is the Co-founder and CMO of diabetes technology companies Triple Jump and Tingo. Prior to founding Javelin, he was the founder and CEO of MindGuard, a stroke-prevention medical device company, and Medingo, a developer of ultra-small insulin pumps. Ofer is the recipient of the 2010 Diabetes Technology Society Leadership Award and is the author of numerous patents in the field of medical device technology.
Yoni Ben-Zvi
CEO
Yoni brings 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, including 12 years leading cardiovascular companies.
Holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering (BSc), MBA from Technion technology institute. Prior to joining Javelin, he served as Co-Founder and General Manager at Mitralix Ltd., a company developing a percutaneous device for the repair of tricuspid and mitral valve regurgitation. He also held R&D management roles Pi-Cardia and at Optonol. Yoni is the author of several patents in cardiovascular and ophthalmic medical device technologies and has a proven track record across R&D, manufacturing, quality, and clinical domains.
Sagit Broder
VP Clinical and Regulatory Affairs
Sagit is a biologist with over 20 years of experience in medical device development. Prior to joining Javelin, she was a pre-clinical Study Director at Assaf HaRofeh Medical Center and Head of the pre-Clinical unit at TransPharma, a combined product (medical device and drug) company.
Alon Baranes
VP Production and Operation
Alon is a civil engineer with 10 years of experience in the medical device industry, including development, manufacturing, design, process V&V testing, QA and logistics execution of clinical and pre-clinical studies.
Yair Dan
R&D Specialist
Yair is a mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience in medical device development. Prior to joining Javelin, he served as VP of R&D at Triple Jump, Director of Engineering at Medingo, and as a development engineer at Ziv Av, an engineering consulting firm.
Maria Berson
Clinical and Regulatory Associate
Maria is a Biologist with 15 years of experience in the field. Prior to joining Javelin, she was a pathology assistant (Histology department) at Maccabi Healthcare Services and pre-clinical study assistant at Transpharma, a combined product (medical device and drug) company.
Idit Liber
Administration Manager
Idit has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. She holds a B.A. in Economics and International Relations and has approximately 10 years of experience as a Procurement Manager in biotech companies.

Avi Neta

The Javelin team will always remember Avi’s contribution to the company. Avi helped Javelin to become the company and team that we are today, aiming to bring a never-before-seen technology to the benefit of patients.
Avi was a mechanical engineer with over 40 years of experience in engineering, management and product development. Prior to joining Javelin, he served as VP R&D and Chief Engineer of Medingo, and Head of Mechanics in Elbit’s dialysis machine development program.
